ROSEO is an opportunity for rural science educators to learn to use the Starlab planetarium!
Discovery Science Center realizes that rural students are at a disadvantage because their schools are located far from Museums and Science Centers. We want to reduce that disadvantage by bringing some of our science programming to the schools.
As part of the ROSEO program, Discovery Science Center staff will take the Starlab to the schools and present Astronomy programs to the students. Interested teachers will be invited to apply for Starlab training, and then they will be able to teach the Astronomy programs themselves at their own schools using the Discovery Science Center's portable planetarium, the Starlab..
