I
live and work in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I grew up
on the west coast, but have lived in Colorado for the past 19 years.
I used to whittle as a kid, and developed an interest in sculpture
while attending Trinidad State Junior College, where I took classes
in drawing and bronze casting. I enjoy hiking in the peace and solitude
of the Rocky Mountain foothills. I also love working in my garden,
especially growing raspberries. |
| I
am fascinated with and attracted to art from ancient cultures, and
feel a connection with my art which provides a link back to historical
moments of ancient cultures. I would love to have the original artwork,
but since that is not possible I recreate them for my own enjoyment,
and I am willing to share them with others who feel the same way.
I like to take 2-dimensional pictures and make them come alive in
3-dimensional reproductions that help the ancient cultures communicate
with our modern world |
